I cre­ated this graphic today, to con­vince my dad that Beirut and his home­town of Aleppo, Syria are not as far from one another as he keeps telling me they are. Two min­utes on google maps and another three min­utes in Pho­to­shop and viola a pic­ture worth 1000 words. I think I sort of left him speech­less — and that’s say­ing something!
